When installed granule-side up, MS Cap serves as the weathering layer to CertainTeed's built-up or non-modified roof systems, applied with hot asphalt or FlintBond® Brush cold adhesive. When installed granule-side down, the membrane functions as a venting base sheet, mechanically fastened or spot mopped over lightweight insulating concrete decks or existing smooth surfaced membranes. This 118 mil membrane is manufactured with a heavy duty fiberglass reinforcement, offering exceptional dimensional stability and resistance to weathering.
