Since 1989, Susan G. Komen has helped reduce the U.S. breast cancer mortality rate by 44%. This is partially because of the more than $1.1 billion Komen has invested in research, leading to 31 FDA-approved breast cancer drugs. Plus, the organization has invested nearly $2.6 billion in advocacy, community programs, education, and patient support services. And Komen’s Patient Care Center inspires hope by helping to achieve health equity and provides access to high-quality care for all.
