It also features a slip-resistant surface for enhanced traction and safety. The membrane is resistant to cracking, drying out, or rotting, offering long-lasting protection. Local technical support is available to assist with applications. For installation, it's important to prepare a clean, dry, and continuous structural deck. Proper priming may be required for certain surfaces. Vycor Ice & Water Shield HT should be applied in fair weather conditions when temperatures are at least 40°F (5°C). Side laps should be a minimum of 3.5 in. (90 mm) and end laps a minimum of 6 in. (150 mm). The membrane should be installed such that all laps shed water, starting from the low point to the high point of the roof.
