On this carriage house we used CTD Presidential TL Shake shingles. They have the look of real wood shakes and carry a 50 yr warranty. Presidential Series is the original luxury shingle created to replicate the look of cedar shakes with the performance of fiber glass construction. This is peak performance at new heights. Presidential Series delivers the charm and character of hand-split wood shakes with the durability and strength that presides over wood in virtually every surrounding. On this project M & J took Honorable Mention in 2012. ARMA (Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association) QARC awards program to recognize the top asphalt roofing projects in North America. We were up against some tough competition from a Federal building to a Comfort Suites.
