This project is a $5 million, luxury home located in Ladue, Missouri and was the third home constructed in a series of homes built for family members. The home has a large master bedroom on the first floor, several other bedrooms, a bunkroom on the second floor, and a guest suite on the lower level. Sitting atop a previously undeveloped 10 acres of land in Ladue, an area with few new developments. The owners wanted a home that was luxury-first, with sustainability second.

Key Challenges
The client wanted a luxury-first house, and the contractor specializes in converting “luxury” conversations into “sustainability” and “comfort.” REA Homes takes on these luxury homes, and then tries to embed health, comfort and sustainability within it so it’s truly “luxurious” from a holistic standpoint.

Key Achievements
The contractors built a house that was beyond code requirements and initial expectations. They were asked for luxury, but made it better by introducing sustainability and health. This house is an ENERY STAR Certified Home.
