Project details
This 1950s cathedral ceiling lower sloped shingled roof had terrible ice damming and was a leaking mess in the winter or 2013. This roof was completely removed along with all of the plywood & insulation. We then added closed cell insulation to all of the cathedral ceiling areas in order to prevent heat loss and ice damming in the future. All new plywood and Certainteed Patriot Black shadow shingles were installed. This roof turned out great and was featured in an article in R&R Magazine in 2015. To date and after one of the worst winters on record in 2014 the customer did not have one issue with an ice dam or with leaking. We strive to solve roofing problems that others may not want to take on.
