Overview
VYCOR® RA25 and VYCOR® RA40 are high-performance self-adhered flashing membranes designed to help protect the building envelope from water intrusion and air leakage. Built with a durable polyethylene facer and aggressive rubberized asphalt adhesive, they create a strong, waterproof bond around windows, doors, deck attachments, sheathing seams, and other critical transitions.
VYCOR® RA25 features a 25 mil membrane for reliable everyday flashing applications, while VYCOR® RA40 offers a thicker 40 mil construction for added durability and enhanced protection in more demanding conditions.
As part of a complete CertainTeed building envelope system, VYCOR® RA25 and VYCOR® RA40 work with weather-resistive barriers and exterior siding products to help manage moisture, improve weather resistance, and protect the long-term performance of the wall assembly.

Sustainability
Everything old is new again. Working with R. Titter Roofing and White Horse Village, 45,000 pounds of discarded PVC vinyl siding that once would have been landfill-bound has been reclaimed and recycled in a CertainTeed sustainability initiative. At least 140,000 square feet of tear-offs and scraps were crushed, baled, and repurposed into raw material for new siding and other vinyl products.
