Get The Look: Colonial
An iconic American architectural style, the Colonial continues to get lots of love from home buyers and home builders alike. Colonials are known for their symmetrical facades with centered doors flanked by windows. This modern-take on a classic embraces its American heritage with a patriotic color pallet.

SIDING
Blue, white and red is the quintessential American look and a perfect choice for this iconic Colonial. To keep it architecturally accurate Restoration Classic clapboard siding was used for the body of the house. Cedar Impressions, cedar inspired shingles, in matching Pacific blue we used in the eaves.

TRIM
Accent trim is not just for interiors. In fact, they have the same effect of enhanced character and charm when added to the exterior. Here a dentil trim detail has been added to the roofline of the garage.

FENCE
No Colonial would be complete without a white picket fence. Get the look for yourself by adding a charming Danbury Concave Select fence with matching gate to the edge of your property.

LIVING ROOM
Due to more stringent building codes and tighter building envelopes, indoor air quality is more important than ever. According to the EPA, air pollution levels can be up to 100 times higher indoors than outdoors. Consider adding a HEPA filter to your vacuum or live plants to your décor.

KITCHEN
Rich, dark cabinetry creates an inviting space when contrasted against all-white marble counters, backsplash and walls. Unfortunately nothing stains the brilliance of white faster than mold and mildew. To combat against this select moisture resistant products such as Diamondback tile backer.
