WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF SUBMITTING A PROJECT?
From its origins in Paris to today, the Trophy honors those craftsmen and craftswomen who use our solutions in sustainability, comfort, safety, aesthetics, and modularity to build a better world.
Every 2 years since 2012, contractors from around the US and Canada submit their most innovative Drywall projects in the CertainTeed Gypsum Trophy. Project finalists for the 5th CertainTeed Gypsum Trophy competition will attend an all-expense-paid trip to compete at the National Awards Ceremony to be held in Phoenix Arizona, November 2019.
Be seen as a leader in your field. Winners of the CertainTeed Gypsum Trophy will be included in press releases and articles in nationally recognized publications, and projects will be showcased on CertainTeed.com. The next Saint-Gobain International Trophy will be held in Athens, Greece and winners of the CertainTeed Gypsum Trophy will be invited to participate in this all-expense-paid trip.
HOW CAN I FIND OUT IF MY PROJECT IS ELIGIBLE?
Please read the Trophy eligibility requirements to make sure that your project qualifies. When you are ready to submit your project, you can do so online. It is recommended that all project information including project description, challenges and main objectives, project photography, and information on which CertainTeed products were used are put together before your online submission. This will streamline the process and avoid any re-work.
WHAT INFORMATION SHOULD I HAVE READY TO SUBMIT A PROJECT ONLINE?
We recommend gathering this information before submission to avoid the possibility of re-work. Review the submission form for specifics required for entry. In general, you will want to have the following information easily accessible.
- Contractor firm name, company bio, and contact information
- Architect firm name (if applicable)
- Project description and project start and end dates (estimates are fine)
- A description of Key Challenges and Key Achievements
- Project photos - images during construction that show areas where CertainTeed products are used are ideal. Finished project photos (exterior and interior) are also recommended. If your project is not yet finished, we can collect this information at a later date.
You can upload any supporting documentation that you may have. We will reach out if anything else is needed.
