FlintCoat™ -A Plus

CertainTeed FlintCoat-A Plus is a highly rubberized, ultra bright aluminum coating designed for maximum performance. This heavy duty, high-performance coating can be used on a variety of roof surfaces to reduce roof temperatures and cooling costs. It is also designed to perform substantially better than standard coatings under ponding water conditions, although it is always recommended to correct slope and drainage issues prior to coating.

The following information represents typical average properties of FlintCoat-A Plus:

• Weight: 8.5 lbs. per gallon
Packaging: 5-gallon pail
Coverage: Built-up (roll roofing) – 1 to 1-1/2 gallons per 100 square feet
Smooth surface and metal roofing – 3/4 gallon to 1 gallon per 100 square feet
Color: Silver

All surfaces must have proper drainage and be clean, dry, and free of surface rust and any other foreign matter. Repair all leaks and problem areas. Mix coating and apply evenly using professional airless sprayer, brush or roller. Spread in both horizontal and vertical directions, overlapping ends of strokes.
