C900/RJ™ PVC Pipe  (Coupled)

case studies/articles
CertainTeed Certa-Lok™ C900/RJ™ PVC pipe is a non-metallic mechanically restrained joint system designed for use in water and force main sewer systems for both trenchless and open cut pipe installation.  Certa-Lok™ C900/RJ™ PVC pipe is made in cast-iron outside diameters and meets all performance requirements of AWWA C900.

Certa-Lok™ pipe provides a restrained joint by utilizing precision-machined grooves allowing a spline to be inserted, resulting in a fully circumferential restrained joint that locks the pipes together.

Note: If needed, the joint can be disassembled and re-used to allow for system changes, extension or removal for re-use. Certa-Lok™ joints can be easily disassembled, allowing for system changes, extension, movement or reuse of the entire system.

Typical installation methods for Certa-Lok™ C900/RJ™ include:
• Horizontal directional drilling (HDD)
• Static pipe-bursting
