Blown-in Fiber Glass Insulation

Adding Attic Insulation is easy with TrueComfort™.
The TrueComfort system comprises fiber glass blown-in insulation and the blowing machine used to install it. The machine is portable and simple to operate, and the insulation is super-expanding, requiring fewer bags than other competitive products to achieve the same R-Value. Remodelers and Do-It-Yourselfers (DIYs) can rent the machine and retrofit attics saving homeowners up to 20% on energy costs.
(Savings vary. To find out why, go to www.energystar.gov. Higher R-Values mean greater insulating power.)

This insulation product qualifies for an energy tax credit of up to $500 under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. For more information, visit the CertainTeed Energy Tax Credit page.

CertainTeed insulation products improve building energy efficiency and reduce building energy consumption for the life of the structure. As a result, they help conserve nonrenewable energy sources, decrease dependence on foreign oil and lower greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, the recycled content of CertainTeed fiber glass insulation is currently 30-35% and exceeds the EPA Recovered Material Guideline for fiber glass products, consisting of pre-consumer and post-consumer glass cullet.

Most CertainTeed fiber glass insulation products have been certified by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute and meet the GREENGUARD standards for low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions, including formaldehyde.
