ThermaEZE™ is a revolutionary new approach to poured concrete wall construction that provides a cost-effective and efficient way to insulate above and below grade poured concrete walls. The ThermaEZE™ Thermal Insulation System consists of panels of expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam sized to work with most standard form systems. The panels are set within the wall forms prior to the concrete pour and remain in place after the forms are removed to reveal a fully insulated wall surface.



T-Roc™ - Thermal Laminate Foundation Insulation System

T-Roc™ is a composite panel comprising CertainTeed GlasRoc® paperless gypsum boards permanently laminated  to high R-value expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam. Panels install easily in conventional concrete wall forms with minimal extra set-up time, saving time and money versus traditional wall finishing approaches . When forms are stripped a move-in quality insulated semi-finished basement is revealed.

T-Roc™ Thermal Laminate Foundation Insulation System
T-Roc ™ Meets Code Requirements:

• Meets IRC 2006 requirements for insulated basement walls
• Exceeds UL 1715, fire test for interior finish material (room corner burn test)
• Meets IBS and IRC requirements for 15 minute thermal barrier protection of foam plastic insulation

ThermaEze™ Thermal Insulation System Installation:

Step 1: Insert ThermaEZE webs into the slots of the ThermaEZE insulation panel.

Step 2: Install ThermaEZE panels into wall cavity as you erect your wall forms.* Note: Do not apply form release to forms that will come in contact with ThermaEZE panels. Make sure any form release previously used on the forms have been completely removed.

Step 3: Place reinforcing bars in the slots provided in the ThermaEZE webs or on the notched wall ties and you are ready to pour.

Step 4: Once the concrete has cured and your forms are removed, the wall is ready for finish board applications. Finish materials are easily installed by simply screwing into the exposed face of the ThermaEZE web for a secure hold. It is that easy! Supplemental foam adhesive may also be used for drywall installation.

CertainTeed Corporation warrants only to provide replacement material, without charge, for those of its ThermaEZE products proven to have manufacturing defects within ten (10) years of the date of delivery thereof, provided, however, that CertainTeed Corporation has first been given an opportunity to inspect the product alleged to be defective in order to determine if it meets  the CertainTeed Corporation specifications and if the handling, installation, and operating conditions have been satisfactory and in accordance with acceptable practices.
