Platon® is made from tough, durable, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), CertainTeed Platon is a waterproofing membrane that provides superior moisture protection for all types of foundations in residential basement applications. This dimpled 24-mil. wrap separates water from the foundation wall and permanently bridges foundation cracks, preventing moisture from entering the basement of a home.

CertainTeed Platon can be installed under all weather conditions, and does not require a special crew or equipment. Installation is fast and easy, thanks to Platon Speedclip and Speedstrip Fasteners.

CertainTeed Platon works in conjunction with Form-A-Drain to keep basements dry and healthy.

Multi-use – can be installed over existing basement floors to provide isolation from cold damp concrete, keeping basements healthy, warm and dry.
