WeatherBoards Cedar Lap siding is manufactured to look like natural wood, providing bold and traditional profiles. Our authentic TrueTexture™ wood grain appearance is achieved with our advanced first-transfer system using real cedar boards. Our grain pattern repeats every 48 planks – the best in the industry – which means a 20x24-foot wall, will have a maximum of only two repeats. Recent survey results prove that 2 out of 3 consumers prefer the wood grain appearance of TrueTexture over the competition.

Cedar lap siding is available with CertainTeed’s ColorMax® Finishing System’s line of 22 solid colors, featuring the protection of our proprietary FiberTect® primer/sealer that provides resistance to unwanted moisture while serving as a base for quality top coats.  It is also available primed and sealed with FiberTect for painting after installation, providing the longest paint window in the industry - 24 months.
