CertainTeed is concerned about our environment and has made a commitment to make sure our products and plants support that commitment.
First, our fiber glass insulation products are “green”. For each BTU used to manufacture our products, they save 12 BTUs for every year in use. By helping Americans reduce the energy they use to heat and cool our buildings, less fossil fuel is burned releasing less greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere. Plus our insulation is manufactured using a readily renewable material (sand) and recycled glass (this varies by plant but is as much as 35%).

CertainTeed fiber glass insulation products have also achieved GREENGUARD Certification for superior indoor air quality performance.
