Basic Use: This product is used as a thermal or acoustical insulation in commercial buildings where wide rolls of unfaced insulation are required such as retrofitting a warehouse. It is also used in post frame construction. In roofs and sidewalls this product can be used as a second layer over the unfaced side of Metal Building Insulation 202-96. Additionally, it may be installed over old roof decks (BUR and metal) prior to application of a new standing seam roof.

Benefits: CBI is made from inorganic glass fibers bonded with a thermoset resin to form a uniformly textured, pale yellow blanket insulation.
