Certified Contractor Program

Partners in Quality

Certified Contractor Program - The first and only program to third- party certify insulation contractors for the installation of insulation by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Research Center.

TO BECOME CERTIFIED:

A contractor must work with CertainTeed Corporation to establish a quality system which includes quality procedures for the insulation contracting company and a quality program for its installers.
The insulation company management staff and installers complete an extensive training program.
Next the NAHB Research Center conducts an audit at the company's offices and actual job sites.
Once a company passes all of the qualifications, they are awarded certified contractor status.
To maintain certification, the contractor must agree to semi-annual unannounced office and job site audits.
